The Clinton machine is going to engineer a campaign like the one in ‘92. Only this time, they’ll have to contend with bloggers, truth detectors, and talk radio. Hillary’s more of a control freak than even Jimmy Carter, and her impulse will be to lock down all unfavorable coverage. A compliant Drive-By Media will be more than happy to midwife this effort. Hopefully, Clinton Inc. and the Old Media will fail.
You noticed, I am sure, that Clintonics, Inc. got control of the Debates right after the little faux pas with the DLs for illegals. They will also try for control of the real debates between Mrs. Bill and the Republican. I expect they will succeed to some extent.
What can we expect if Mrs. Bill wins the nomination and loses the election by 1 or 2 % just to see what the Clintons will come up with. It will be entertaining but I also fear it will be dangerous for individuals and for the country.
I would hope the appropriate agencies are prepared for whatever comes down but I fear that those appropriate agencies are still riddled with Clinton holdovers that the present administration has pointedly NOT cleaned out. In a close loss there are things that the history of the Clintons suggest could/would be done that are simple to do and would reverse the election. There are not enough Secret Service people to protect against all even obvious possibilities.
