Rove on Hillary: Bitch Comment Key
Newsmax.com ^ | November 18, 2007

Posted on 11/19/2007 6:12:14 AM PST by period end of story

President Bush's former chief political strategist writes that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton can be defeated next year, but he argues it won't be easy.

In his debut column for the liberal Newsweek magazine, Karl Rove describes Hillary as "hard" and "brittle."

Recalling two encounters with the former first lady who seemed agitated by his mentioning of a vanity mirror in her old West Wing office, Rove says Hillary is "tough, persistent and forgets nothing."

Two things that she can’t dodge easily are the perception of the school marm with her hand on the nuclear button and her lack of any real accomplishments. the latter is easier to overcome with her “for the children” dribble, but I think that the voting public at large will be uneasy with a control freak handling delicate wartime issues. She might just bomb you as look at you if you were a problem to her. IMHO.

"Be authentic."

That's the money quote. The Republican nominee must, above all else, be authentic so as to be in stark contrast to the "Democrat who calculates almost everything, including her accent and laugh . . ."

I think this eliminates Rudy, and Mitt. Flame suit on.

Despite having personal weaknesses, Rove

whose personal weaknesses are being discussed, HRC's or Rove's? I suspect HRC's but the grammar says Rove's and there is a little bit of ambiguity to it.

Since Rove would seem to regard me as just one of those xenophobes who doesn’t like brown people, I tend to look askance at his political “advice” these days. He’s a minion of the MSM now. Want to “energize” a bunch of women voters? Keep calling Hillary a bitch. Accurate or not, it will help her, not hinder her.

Rove is right about one thing regarding Hillary. She is a walking contradiction. She is tough on the outside but a jellyfish on the inside. Now, that’s in our favor. No matter how they spin her; the public knows what she is.

As far as our candidates; yes we have some suthentic ones and some not so authentic. We have the choice. That’s the point.

He didn’t really call her a bitch, as much as he commented upon the question posed to McCain. It is probably better to keep these kind of comments behind the scenes, however it was a female who asked the question in the first place, and many women feel that way about Hillary.

When the woman said “How do we beat the bitch?”, McCain could have said “Which one, Hillary or Edwards?”. : )

Someone needs to come up with a photoshopped graphic

of her as the school marm with her finger on the nuclear button . . . and a caption—how about it gang—what caption?

perhaps . . .

“I warnd you about ridiculing my fat thighs!”

or

“If my goons didn’t do the trick, THIS WILL!”

or

“Who cares about being loved. My Muslim hottie is for that. I want to be feared! Besides this is a great button for overpopulation problems.”

or

“So much for that conservative State. At least THEY won’t vote Republican again! LOL! CACKLE CACKLE!”

or

“Which enemies of globalism/communism will these missles hit, now? Wonderful! Cackle Cackle”

Others???

Oh, I don't know about that...remember the person who said what everyone is thinking was a woman voter. Women know who the b#tches are and they aren't afraid to point it out.

For every outraged "womyn" that will be energized by this, there are probably two or three who heard it and said,

You go, girl!

_____Despite having personal weaknesses, Rove argues that the Republican starts out with a disadvantage. Hillary is just simply better known. __________________

This comment is worrisome. She is not known for anything that she has actually achieved or accomplished, in business or in government. Yet because voters have seen her since 1992 that alone makes her formidable? We have a voter problem in this country!

True, but it's like the n-word. Chris Rock can use it to make people laugh, but I can't for practically any purpose. Rove needs to remember that only a woman may get away with using that word about another woman, or even refer to it, unless criticizing it.

Except when testifying under oath. Seems she also forgot who Juanita is. More like she has a convenient memory.

KR is right. Ho She Marx is very brittle and the proof is the illegals driver’s licenses that two weeks before she said NO. The “NO” answer was cooked up with Wolf Blitzer who got Obama on it the said it’s a yes/no question before asking the beast. She was absolutely ready with a resounding no.

Illegal immigration made most of Americans angry. Pressing her on it will get her in real trouble and have her eat her meals in the Waffle House.
