Here's your Money, Now Surrender!
Capitol Hill ^ | Nov. 19, 2007 | JB Williams

How soon we forget, when we practice the art of selective memory and exploit the war and our troops in battle for political gain.

On October 11, 2002, one year and one month to the day after September 11, 2001, the U.S. Senate voted on whether or not to authorize use of military force to affect the official U.S. policy regarding Iraq.

(snip)

In 2002, 77 Senators voted to authorize use of force to depose the Hussein regime in Iraq and liberate the Iraqi people. They did so believing that the Hussein regime was continuing to develop and pursue bio, chemical and nuclear war technologies that could be shared with a vast international network of terror organizations...

(snip)

Among those 77 Senators were none other than Hillary Clinton (D-NY), John Edwards (D-NC), Christopher Dodd (D-CT) and Joe Biden (D-DE), all of whom are asking for your vote for President of the United States in 2008, all of whom have denounced their vote since and worked to undermine the mission they approved. (Barack Obama was not a Senator until 2005 and had no access to intelligence reports at the time. But he claims 20/20 hindsight.)

Reality has a funny way of biting one in the butt, when one leasts expects it. May reality be just around the corner for those who are waving the white flag of surrender.

One can ignore reality for a while, but one can never escape it forever.

The only war Dems will support is one in which no one dies, costs nothing and changes nothing.

BTW - Why has Hunter not connected with voters?

He’s a good man. I’m not sure he’s a President and voters seem sure he isn’t. What happened?

Even though the democrats and rinos always try to find a way to ignore Reality. May the dog called, Reality, be unkind to these traitors. And I mean that in a nice way....

I do not have an answer for your question, other than maybe, Mr. Hunter is only now beginning to connect with the voters. Time is not up yet, nor has one vote been cast yet. Time always tells the tale.

I’m afraid too many Americans will need to be bitten a few more times before they come to grips with the dog at their door...

Perhaps you are correct. I could tell you a tale that would curl your hair, but then I’d have to ..... well... enough for now. I pray you are wrong though.

Can’t figure it out.

Early on, strictly on voting records alone, I though Hunter would connect with conservatives fed up with RINOs running their party.

Nothing...

At this point, I don’t think he can even remain in the race much longer. His campaign is effectively bankrupt and there is no sign of any change on the horizon.

This guy might serve better in a cabinet position. The voters just seem to look right past him as if he’s invisible.

Maybe the ‘turn around’ is just around the corner, instead of the biting dog ‘Reality’. I cannot give up hope yet!

I hear ya...

The primaries is the time to work for your guy. I just don’t get why he hasn’t connected.

I get why everyone else is where they are in the race. This one, I just don’t get...

Good luck!
