You could be right. But it's treason for craven political purposes. The dems think they score more with a defeat than with a win. I'm suggesting that America would be better off if we changed the calculus for at least a portion of the dem leadership by letting them pretend they had something to do with our success in Iraq and NOT calling them on it.

They are perfectly capable of shifting like this. When they thought they won by supporting the Iraq war, they voted to authorize it. Then they switched as the political calculus changed as the war dragged on. We need to change the political calculus in their greedy little minds.

Yes and an 11% approval rating says it all. Most Americans had a legitimate gripe about the post-invasion management of Iraq, including myself (do better research guys!) but for the Democrats to continue this anti-American behavior goes beyond strong opinions and into the realm of traitor.
