“Breaking News.................” NOT
It was posted here in FreeRep the day of or the day after the explosions (Nov 13/14??)
I do not know what key words the original post was tagged with, or what words and forms of search (title, key words) you used to check for an existing duplicate post.
If the original poster provided that post with “key words” like: Iran, Parchin, explosion (only a guess, and if they didn’t, too bad) and you had searched on those terms, you would have found the duplicate.
What I have done, in similar cases (when an older-duplicate is found), is to post nothing in the content but the URL, preceded by the word “update”, and then I add another line with “original post:” and the URL for the earlier post.
Then, I have gone into that original post and added an new comment with the new URL. Sometimes a different story on the same actual news item might actually have some additional/different info.
Good luck.
Thank you for your patronizing lecture.
