I’m a Catholic and have never been offended to find a KJV (a translation that is not approved by the Catholic Church) in my room. In Marriott hotels, the Book of Mormon is also included. I have never been offended. If the owner wants to put a Koran in there, that’s okay by me, too.
I am more offended by the stupid environmentalist messages that are designed to save the hotel money.
I use every towel every night on purpose, I'm sick of hotels trying to get out of providing a service that I am paying for.
No kidding. Those cards really try to lay on a green guilt trip. *We* participate in keeping the earth green, and if *you* are equally enlightened, you will know to keep your towels on the racks. If you choose not to participate, let us know by piling all those towels on the floor like the inconsiderate pig that you are...
Now if the cards said, "for every towel you reuse, we'll deduct x from your hotel bill", then okay. After all, think of all the participation they'd get from that strategy. Oh wait, it's all about the other kind of green...
How long before they sell carbon credits to offset the towel use?
I too am offended by that ridiculous “green” we don’t change the sheets if you don’t ask. I make a point to do the request the sheets be changed step of putting the card on the bed. Jus ta joy to piss off a greenie.
