Yep, glad they are visiting allah.
Take a general purpose bomb body $1-2 bucks per pound, plus an $18K guidance kit. Not only that, but they are exceptionally easy to deliver. Punch the coordinates in and the aircraft displays a zone from which the bomb can make it to the target.
Cost of the Maverick missile? = $126,000
Seeing the goat humpers and their mortar turn into flaming bits of high speed debris in your FLIR?
Priceless..........
Seems like overkill but better overkill than underkill.
And to their pilots!
Tell me that thing is laser guided. If not what’s the record for tighest grouping over 1M rounds? :o)
Only problem with the A-10 on low value targets is the uranium depleted ammo they shoot with their centerline gun. Creates an environmental hazard and fairly expensive. They could load them with HE rounds though. They probably just made a call to the closest package with the stuff to do it.
But i agree, AQ vermin don’t deserve to die by our high tech equipment. Boiling in oil would be nice i think.
“Coalition aircraft spotted the insurgent mortar team loading a van with a mortar tube and tripod.”

Are the depleted uranium rounds being used against soft targets?
Are the depleted uranium rounds being used against soft targets?

We will probably see articles before the end of the year telling us about the Good Iraqi people taking matters in their own hands and removing these al Qaeda serial killers in Iraq.
Thanks for the good news ping!
