This outcome says Texas Republicans arent terribly concerned about viability.
Who the hell is he to say who's viable? Not one single vote has yet been cast. If people like the message of a candidate such as Duncan Hunter and support and vote for him, he's viable. If they go against their own interests, then they are self-defeating and have no one to blame but themselves by settling for a lesser candidate.

They trumpet how Mitt “The Big Flipper” leads in tiny NH, across the line from his former domain of Taxachusetts. But they will ignore the fact that Duncan Hunter leads in the largest predominantly Republican state in the country.
