It’s nice that this traitorous act could be turned into something wonderfully patriotic!
God bless Betty Casey and Rush Limbaugh!
I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death. Patrick Henry, (Virginia Convention, March 23, 1775)
I guess Harry Reid will proudly proclaim that he is the modern John Hancock.
Height of Limbaughs’ career..Kudos to Casey..flew in for ‘Dans Bake sale’ in Colorado in the nineties to hear Limbaugh...better than on the radio..fun times.
I had the distinct pleasure of becoming a fourth time caller to Rush’s show yesterday. He is an absolute class act. The effort he puts forth in educating America is unmatched in today’s world. He like Patrick Henry is nothing less than a true patriot. Rush deserves the respect and support of every American. I for one hope he will have many more fundraising events in the future.
Incredible, can you imagine what a warm, family friendly, Disney film this would make
Someone tried to silence the man who runs America? Silly RATS...
Present it around June/August timeframe..
I trust the date the site is ready will be announced on Rush’s show. This was one fantastic thing to do.
GIGA DITTOS! :-)

I have noticed your absence of late. I hope you are doing well and the BDS has been subsiding.
My prayers to you in this difficult time.
The son asks, "Daddy, what is that letter?"
The father replies, "Well, son. That there is a letter signed by 41 individuals who were elected by the People to represent them in Congress.
But instead of tending to the needs of the People and the security of the Country, these 41 Senators felt it was more important to spend time signing a letter 'requesting' a radio station owner to force a private citizen to publicly apologize for something he didn't say.
Son, this private citizen was simply exercising his First Amendment right to say what he wanted. And these 41 Senators didn't much care for what he said. And rather than debate the merits of his ideas in the Public Arena, these 41 Senators tried to indirectly censor him."
The son asks, "Golly, dad. That's not right. Was it reported in the news?"
The father smiled ruefully. "No, son. It was not. Apparently, the broadcasting corporations were headed up by people who also disagreed with this private citizen. Their job was to report the news in a professional, objective manner. But they privately sided with the 41 Senators and thus, hid the story from their audiences."
"And son, that letter stands before us as a reminder to always be vigilant against bullies who hide behind the Constitution when it suits their personal agenda."
The boy nods knowingly and remarks, "Thanks, dad." They stay for a moment longer, and then depart.
This fictional father & son could very likely be direct beneficiaries of the money that Rush & Betty Casey donated. Such a gift can positively affect generations beyond our ability to speculate.
Thank you, Mr. Limbaugh and thank you, Ms. Casey.
Perfect!
Awesome!
Hats off to Mrs Casey and to Rush.A great cause to be sure and a little fun showing dingy harry as the scumbag he really is.
I’d be interested to hear if any of the 41 signatories even tried to match the winning bid.
I emailed Patty Murray, since she is one of my Senators and signed the letter, challenging her to make an effort to match the winning bid. In reply, I got the standard form letter explaining her views on Iraq and why it is lost, LOL.
Obviously, her staffers didn’t even read my email.
Eugene B. Casey Foundation, established by Betty Casey’s late husband, a major real estate developer and Washington native.
2004
First came the collapse of philanthropist Betty Casey’s controversial 2001 plan to spend $50 million on a grand mayoral mansion on Washington’s Foxhall Road.
Last December, after nearly three years of conflict, Betty Casey pulled the plug. She sold the land for $25 million to St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School across Foxhall Road, said Sullivan, and gave the proceeds to the Salvation Army, which plans to build a community center in Anacostia.
