More LDS double talk...their real position is that they accept the Bible “in so far as correctly translated” and reject key Christian doctrines such as the Trinity and salvation through grace, citing in part their other holy books. When you review the theology in detail, it is effectively polytheism, and certainly not in line with Judaism and Christianity.

All that said, it should not be held against Romney.

Could you please show me the precepts of Trinitarianism in the Bible? Mormons do not reject grace. There is no way that any man can attain salvation through his works alone. The Bible also teaches us that faith without works is dead. Like two sides in a pair of scissors, grace and works combine together in bringing a man back to God.
