diamonds or pearls?
spit or swallow?
At the time she interned Reid wasn’t the majority leader.
Which also doesn’t really answer how she won the supposed lottery for front row tickets, or how her question got asked, or why her other questions were discarded in favor of the take off on “Boxer or Briefs”.
Just wait....
;^)
(You gotta set up these pitches!)
Apparently.
Perhaps CNN is backing Clinton and the NYT thinks its a fatal mistake for the party ?
“Single-user or double-ended?”
That is why I chose the phrase "party leader." A minority leader's office is still gonna be more exciting than the average Senate office. If you're a freshman Senator, you get a lot of mayors from your state and various lobbyists stopping by. If you're a party leader, either party, you get Angelina Jolie.
Which also doesnt really answer how she won the supposed lottery for front row tickets, or how her question got asked, or why her other questions were discarded in favor of the take off on Boxer or Briefs.
Is it breaking news that the debates are stage-managed, if not staged? They screen the questions, because they don't want t spend the whole hour talking about Yucca Mountain -- something very important to Nevadans, but not in the top twenty for the rest of America.
To the point that the moderators are correcting on the fly the questions the “normal folks” in the audience “should” be asking?
Remember the ‘boxers or briefs’ question? I wonder who planned and plotted that one.
Perhaps, next time, thedebate moderator should discuss with Hillary hair color issues, and which color nail polish would look better with her cherry orange pant suit, or which size carat diamond would suit her.
Maybe, then these voter challenged citizens and illegal aliens can really get to know her and where she stands on the vital issues facing Americans today.
Yeah. To that point.
I'm an outlier on this question, because I don't think the stage-managing of the debates is the problem. The problem is the pretense. When you have ten freaking candidates on the stage, there simply isn't enough time for everyone to make a point.
Two options present themselves -- scripted questions or longer debates. Either you arrange the questions or you allow a whole hell of a lot more time. Six hours, minimum.
The problem isn't the staging. It's the falsehood. It's not a debate. It's not a "town hall." The few questions from the audience aren't "average citizens." And that's fine. Anyone paying attention knows the "debates" are pure theater. Just stop lying to us about it.
Whether I agree with your conclusions or not, I have one request, which I think is fair -- don't piss on my shoes and tell me it's raining.
.
WE can agree on that, it was very similar to a bad infomercial, the questions from the “audience” are scripted, and of course the “product” will be the best brightest and most qualified and exactly what “we” need...
It is my opinion though, that the American Public has no idea how completely the entire thing was scripted like a “Head on” commercial...
Courage? When she was handed the microphone she could have asked any question she wanted. Instead, she caved and did CNN’s bidding. Nothing courageous about it.

3. Send it to the trash.
4. Empty the trash.
5. Your PC will ask you, "Do you really want to get rid of "Hillary Rodham Clinton?"
6. Firmly Click "Yes."
7. Feel better?
PS: Next week we'll do Nancy Pelosi
Bill Schnieder is a democrat hack through and through.
