Did you know that a man described as "a former top aide" of George Soros took a guilty plea on federal charges of conspiring to defraud investors and faces sentencing next week? I didn't.
Now, having a former top associate cop a plea on charges could just happen to a bigtime financial operator out of the blue, I suppose. But George Soros himself was convicted of insider trading and fined 2.2 million euros in France, a conviction upheld when he appealed. Now he is seeking to leave behind that nation-state and is appealing to an EU court. (I bet they let him skate. These transnational institutions know how to take care of the elites.)
James Marquez was no longer associated with Soros when he did the crime, to be sure. He co-founded the Bayou hedge funds in Stamford, CT, where he got caught. His attorney is battling the DA now over certain facts of the case prior to sentencing. The only news source that I see covering this affair is the Journal-Record, a local paper in Westchester County just outside New York City. Marquez lived in Mount Kisco, on an estate he rented from Donald Trump. There's some really nice horse country running from Mt. Kisco, through Bedford (where Christopher Reeve had his terrible fall), and across the state line into Greenwich. The Journal-Record, and the Greenwich Time carry the local news for the horsey set.
I take the fact that Soros was reportedly closely involved with such a crook as another data point on a man who operates in financial secrecy offshore, who has broken the British pound and made billions, and who is spending unlimited sums of money on building propaganda and other political organs in the United States with the apparent intent of swaying elections.
Maybe it is just me, but I think our media ought to be looking into him just a bit. Maybe it would be a good project for Pro Publica, that new tax exempt outfit that's going to be running big investigative journalism projects and offering them free to daily newspapers. Except, of course, that it is funded by his friends and allies, the Sandlers.

Jim Rogers is another former Soros epigone (and frequent guest on Neil Cavuto’s Saturday morning Fox News Channel business program). Rogers, a native-born American of vast wealth, is in the process of selling all of his United States properties and moving to China, where he plans to live in perpetuity (he has a Chinese wife and wants his kids to grow up speaking Mandarin fluently). He has stated that Beijing is to the 21st century what New York was to the 20th century and London was to the 19th century. Besides evincing no love at all for his home country, Rogers also appears not to have noticed that China is run by Communists who, among other things, squelch freedom of speech and execute prisoners in order to harvest their organs. Perhaps he’ll wake up when the Chinese government decides to arrest him and confiscate his fortune on some pretext or other, though by then it will be too late.
I remember hearing a while back about how Soros was able to bring down the Belgian currency. Does anyone else remember this? I have thought a lot about that as I watch our dollar slide. Didn’t Soros, at one point, say he was going to bring the dollar down, too?
No. I didn't know. But it doesn't surprise me. It is open knowledge that George Soros is the capo di capo of the world drug trade, with the likes of Chavez doing his personal bidding. I can't imagine why there isn't more outrage about this narco-fascist attempting to destabilize the American government, but I guess all the media hacks have been fully co-opted by now.
He and Hillary are cut from the same cloth.

Glad to hear that Rogers is moving to Red China. What fricking loser. I stopped watching the Saturday show years ago due to Rogers and even more overt left wingers.
George $oreA$$, is the most dangerous anti American elite super rich Fascist alive.
He is ignored by the mediots and most of the rats depend on his $’s via his phoney non profits.

He musta made a mistake somewhere-—a small mistake, but crucial to uncovering his frauds.
The Quantum Fund was co-founded by George Soros and Jim Rogers.
“The Quantum Fund was co-founded by George Soros and Jim Rogers.”
One of these days if our country survives, we will probably read and hear about the $oreA$$ conspiracy with very smart America haters like Roger and their not very smart pawns, the top elected Rat$ in congress and state governments.
Gotta hand it to Bill O’Reilly — at least he is trying to alert his viewers to the evils of evil Soros.
Thanks for the ping and GOOD to see you,((Grampa Dave)).
