Actually, for theology students, this is a great activity. There is a big difference between true theology and a made up religion. This type of project will isolate the differences quickly and obviously. It isn’t liberal and it isn’t silly. It is a pretty creative way to think about the elements of religion, and truth, vs the elements of fiction.
