When you proudly proclaim that you are a liberal and stand for everything your party opposes and vice versa, just what do you expect?? Absurd. I’m glad she lost.

I don't live in that district, but that was a conundrum. The only reason I could think of for supporting Davis was the "R" next to her name and the razor-thin margin in the state senate. On principles, the lesser evil was Chap Petersen.

I know little or nothing of what happens in the Virginia Senate, but this new guy who is taking office and who is being declared to have good principles . . . for whom is he going to vote for Senate Majority leader? You know, the guy who determines the agenda and decides on what bills will be voted on. Is this Peterson guy going to vote to provide conservative Republicans the power to control agenda?
