“EVANSVILLE, Indiana (AP) — Federal agents raided the headquarters of a group that produces illegal currency and puts it in circulation, seizing gold, silver and two tons of copper coins featuring Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul.”

Good on them! The Government should seize this gold and silver. American citizens can’t just take gold that they own and trade it freely with other citizens as if it were money, the Government hasn’t decided that you can use this as money therefore by definition you’re not allowed to do so.

Hell, even using the term “seize” is being generous to these currency terrorists, all gold and silver everyone belongs to the Government if they should choose to claim it in the name of the greater good of society. Claiming something that rightfully belongs to you isn’t “seizing” it. It’s just Uncle Sam making a housecall.
