It asks for unprecedented intervention into the mortgage and capital markets based superficial research (dressed to look all smart and rigorous) and fundamental misunderstandings of such markets. The focus should be on narrowly tailored, makart-driven, adjustments to the underwriting process.

This petition is just plain nuts!
“Congress must exert its Constitutional authority to regulate our currency and demand that the Federal Reserve immediately reverse the recent rate cuts”
That’s all we need is Congress controlling the FED. The FED is independent. Can you imagine what Congress would do just before an election.
