I can’t believe that person receiving communion was in Dora...when my battalion first moved in there in JUL, people were terrified to leave their homes. The IEDs were huge, Al Qaeda owned that place. We had dozens wounded and about a half-dozen Strykers destroyed in the first week. Three Soldiers were killed in one IED strike, God rest their souls. Hopefully, it all actually was worth it. It was probably the most exhausting 2 months of my life, but it may have been worth it.
