Even catholocism is undergoing a renewal much like the ones you have seen in virtually all the Protestant denominations. Further, when you are on the front line with evil face-to-face, you don't have time for anything but the basic gospel.
Who knows, but I look forward to the time when we can travel there and see for ourselves.
