Neither have any of us in central Baghdad. It's amazing.

My whole extended family has been praying like crazy that this war would end successfully with Iraq free and pacified. My niece's husband just deployed in September, and so the war has an even more intense interest. He is complaining that he can't find any action. We are just thankful.

That’s amusing. Can’t find any action. The neighborhood boy, who grew up to become a Navy Doc, is over there now and he says there is a marked drop in injured and wounded since he arrived.

We all need to keep praying.

I have prayed it every day I've been here. I've stood in my doorway listening to firefights and prayed it. I've heard countless bombs go off, both near (sometimes too near) and far and I've prayed it. I've seen some horrendous things that drove me to prayers for peace, for all of this to end in victory for us and for the Iraqis. And now, it appears to be happening.

My niece's husband just deployed in September, and so the war has an even more intense interest.

My deep gratitide to him for a job well done.

He is complaining that he can't find any action. We are just thankful.

Gotta love our troops. ;-)

Don't be too thankful. You can't leave an active military deployed for very long with nothing to do. They will get together and find something to do with their buddies. Like get into some sort of trouble.
