I don't think her "African American" looks got her the Job. I just read that she is actually French-Creole. I somehow don't consider that African American.

My daughter occasionally gets guff when she highlights her native-American heritage. She doesn’t “look” Indian. But truth be told, most native Americans are not a race, but mixed race. My sister as “looks” as Indian as any full-blood.
