I am surprised everyday at how many friends of mine say their church is preaching about environmentalism. Its one thing to take care of God’s creation, but its another thing entirely when pulpits become outlets for unchallenged scientific theories.

Did any of the speakers mention the billions of poor people condemned to die by malnutrition, ill health, sickness, disease, and hunger and bad water caused DIRECTLY by the LACK of affordable energy in their countries?

Did any “preacher” mention the 12 - 26% INCREASE in crop yields coming from the increased CO2 we have now, plus the EXTRA crop yields coming form better fertilizer and better watering and irrigation made possible by more affordable energy?

The pastor where I go to church now said it's OK not to worry about global warming.

There was even a thing in the church bulletin that said to increase your carbon footprint by attending more church functions!

I'm so glad I left the liberal Methodist congregation I had been attending.

The left does this all the time. They use the Evangelicals whenever it suits their agenda. When they are done, they go back to abusing them. They do it with smoker ban legislation. In places like Alabama where they can’t find two liberal nanny state do gooder public serpents in the state legislature to rub together, they get the “church” to take a hard line and crusade on their behalf.
