They are counting on the fact that name recognition alone, will win Hillary the presidency because most of the voters are totally uninformed and know absolutely nothing about the last debate or any other debate.
You’re really stretching the definition of debate to call these simultaneously running monologues debates. And they’re bad rhetoric at that. Not very informative.
