Don’t be paranoid, think money laundering... There is two sides to every story and somewhere between the two is the truth.

It’s $.90 for every dollar, not $99.

Why do I get the feeling that this is about fraud, not minting a legal alternate currency?" It's about pure jack-booted thuggery by your government.

"
What are Ron Paul dollars backed by? The full faith and credit of Ron Paul?" They are made of .999 pure silver, and need no 'backing.'

I have a question and not enough time to read thru all 600+ comments, so if this has been asked already, forgive me.
Just what type of currency does a person use to purchase these Liberty Dollars? US Dollars?
Inquiring minds want to know....

If these “coins” are one ounce of silver,
wouldn’t you assume they are worth the same
price as an ounce of silver?

What is “fake” about gold/silver?

The ‘fake’ is the paper bill that this group claims is backed by gold and silver. Gold and silver are also commodities, not legal currency and it is fraud to sell it as legal currency versus, say, just selling it as a commodity.
