Estimado Presidente, enforcing U.S. law by arresting people who enter our country illegally is not harassment. If it seems to you that Mexicans are being singled out, perhaps that is because more Mexicans than any other nationality have chosen to VIOLATE OUR LAWS. And Mexico does not get to dictate to candidates for elective office in the United States what they may or may not say. You, Señor, are interfering in American politics.

Does he mean illegals?
And what does Mexico do with illegals?
To: 3AngelaD
I was VERY ambivalent about ILLEGALS UNTIL they MARCHED in our streets carrying MEXICAN FLAGS and saying ANTI-AMERICAN things!! THAT DID IT FOR ME!!!
Come legally or don't come at all.

"vows to fund media campaign" What, is that a joke?
Doesn't he realize that the media here is already doing that for him?

Is the government of Mexico planning to spend money in an effort to influence a US election? Is that OK? I mean, I know China does it all the time, but I thought it was theoretically improper.

Migrant success stories?
How about printing some success stories of Mexicans that actually succeeded in their own country to encourage his people to stop going to America illegally!
Shouldn’t be that hard, right...............??

"To bolster the image of migrants in the U.S., the Mexican government will launch "direct media campaigns aimed at showing migrant success stories" Sucess stories? Like how they sucessfully snuck over the US border or how they sucessfully keep jobs despite having phony IDs?

"Mexican president decries 'growing harassment' of migrants in US" Yes, pointing the finger at us is a lot easier than admitting the real problem, which is that Mexico is a corrupt, third-world hellhole.

You can’t win this argument with Mexicans, not matter how much logic or common sense is applied. They have been taught tru revisionist history that they are entitled to much of our country. It’s kind of like the Palestinian argument.

If Bush (or any American politican) had any stones they would 1. tell the Mexican leader to STFU and stop trying to agitate the mex in the US. 2. Stay the F out of US politics. 3. Call for an immediate end to all US aid to mex. 4. Call for an acceleration in BUILDING THE FENCE.

And what does Mexico do with illegals? If the illegals are just passing through on their way to Los Estados Unidos...not much. But if they're intending to stay in the paradise that is Mexico rumor has it that police/soldiers kill them.

Just like Vicente Fox before him Calderon is nothing but a PIMP. They think of their citizens as whores. Send them to the US to work and then expect a cut to sustain their corrupt government. What a POS.

Why doesn’t he worry about finding some success stories in his own country?

"Shell Mexico City like Teddy Roosevelt would." Or even better, like George Patton would. Or like Winfield Scott did!
