Yeah the anointed one queen Hillary has got Spritzer under her thumb. Her big promise is that once President he will be paid back in spades. So Elliot chills now for the greater rewards later

Eliot read his re-elect numbers, released on Tuesday, now hovering around 23%, and realized that there is no way he will win re-election. In 2010 he will be out of a job. The only way he will be able to have a position with all the perqs and power he thinks he deserves is if Hillary! wins the White House and offers him a cabinet-level position in her administration.

If you ask me, a deal has been struck. Eliot's only goal now is to get Hillary! elected. He will just be marking time in the Governorship of New York between now and November '08.

This is good news for New York, of course.
