So, who came up with that model and built it.

I don't find his theory likely, but he's not proposing that he's found the answer to the universe....he's claiming to have found a theory that explains how classical physics and quantum physics work together. The "Theory of Everything" is the long-sought theory of how everything works together, not why it was created.

If it’s simple, then why do they not explain it?

Thank you, I have the same model sitting at home, but in autocad form.

Years ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. From the Pere Ubu Song "thats the story of my life":
"later, messing around in the yard(I was 9)....I discovered the secret of Anti...Gravity... (chuckle) It's such a simple trick! I hope I can remember.."

“This is BS. You don’t find the answer to the universe in some obscure mathematical pastime.”
Huh? That is exactly where Einstein found an awful lot of it. Serously, all of physics reduces to mathematics. Or was that /sarc?

OK, will try. Could say something about fear = xxxxxxxxx, but won’t.
Incidentally, I play with math in my spare time, too. Most recently trying to solve the (likely) NP complete factoring problem. Thought I’d come up with a new solution, but it was equivalent to existing eliptical factoring techniques. Still not bad for just playing around. Currently working on an approach based on a new view of mathematics involving infinite set theory. Most likely will never result in anything, but it is fun if you’re into that kind of thing.

Not really...physics is based on mathematics, but it requires physical insight (i.e., is based on experiment) in addition to everything math can offer. In a sense, physics is math with a purpose.
