WASHINGTON, Nov. 14, 2007 Production of mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles continues ahead of schedule, Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell said here today.
For the month of October, we had hoped to produce 431 vehicles, Morrell said during a news conference. We have produced 452. That's 21 more than we had anticipated, which puts us overall, year-to-date, program-to-date, 34 ahead of schedule. |

Can you imagine the headlines if they were BEHIND schedule?!
It would be 24 hour non-stop coverage and calls for Congressional investigations.
Good news never makes the news paper — Hillary Matters.
When the WSJ goes free, all hell will break loose.
Good news.
FR mail.
But, MRAPs are a bitch to ship.
They are the #1 priority in the DoD, but the Army needs to lay off this trump card and let USTRANSCOM ship some of them via sealift or they will cripple the airlift fleet.
