My child poses no threat to the vaccinated child, right? He’s vaccinated. He can’t get the disease from my child.

Not always true, my vaccinated daughter got chickenpox from an unvaccinated child. Granted it was a very mild case, but she did get it nonetheless.

That’s my point.

Vaccinated kids are at risk as well. To mandate any shot that’s not 100% effective, with a chance of side effects is bad policy.

So, we would have to conclude that the chicken-pox vaccine is exactly how useful?

And therefore, why is the vaccine preferable to actually getting the disease, which—unlike the vaccine—effectively confers immunity to future infection?

she got it because the vaccine doesn’t work!

One of my kids came home from school the last day of preschool with chicken pox and then my other two got it. It wasn’t anymore inconvenient than a bad cold and now their set for life. no worries.

only problem is when the school questions me about why my kids don’t have the vaccine and i tell them they had the chicken pox and they want proof....uh....good thing i took a picture of them at the time!
