Morris has it wrong. Hillary is the one who has to flip one Red State to have a chance of winning. If Romney actually got the nomination he would be hard to beat in Michigan and would put Massachussetts in play.
How does she overcome that?
Morris is an overpaid, consistently wrong pundit at best..........

He’ll put Michigan in plan, but not Massachusetts. Despite being Governor here - it is the most liberal state in the country. He’ll put NH back in play that went to Kerry last election.

I seriously doubt Romney puts Mass. in play in a presidential election. There is one possibility. Romney is very handsome. It’s just possible some of the Hilary female supporters will vote for his looks.

The fact of the matter is that the South and Baptists and fundamentalists in particular are not going to vote for a Mormon. Not saying that that is right or wrong, just a fact that I believe to be true. And if it is true, how does Romney win without the South?

Romney actually got the nomination he would be hard to beat in Michigan and would put Massachussetts in play. He'd put Michigan and New Hampshire in play but not Massachsetts it is too liberal. He might put the pacific northwest in play as well as the upper midwest as he's not southern...

I would think also that Romney would be a strong candidate. But, he does not seem to be gaining any support in gen election match ups. Even after advertising and leading in Republican primaries he still polls poorly in those states he spent money on in fall match ups. But you are right Dick Morris always seems to be wrong. It is really questionable that Romney can hold all of the red states based on what I am seeing in the polls. Arkansas for one has a healthy Hillary lead. Also Ohio has just become a toxic for us.

The danger with the 'toons is losing Arkansas (Bill's home state), and possibly Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisiana as well. Candidates who think the South is a lock for any republican are kidding themselves. This is compounded by the fact that neither Giuliani nor Romney is likely to win his home state against the 'toons. Yikes.
