I have just about done all I can early...I have the guest room,baths, living room and my room done but need to mop the kitchen, vacuum,etc last minute..I only need to buy fresh items at the store..shopping is done( I overbought..LOL)..
There is always something I overlook..I know that Martha’s Staff would help tremendously..LOL The Wednesday before Thanksgiving will be very busy for me as I try to do as much do ahead cooking or putting together dishes as possible.

Sounds like you are doing great. If we didn’t do “some ahead cooking, I would never get ready”. The thing about this year is that my brother and his wife are coming Tuesday after Thanksgiving for the wedding. We made a deal that I wouldn’t cook as usual since its right after Thanksgiving cooking. For them I am making a big pot of vegetable/beef soup, lots of deli.meats, good bread and will make a cake and the rest of the time we are ‘going out to eat’.
It will be me and my kids, wives, grandkids, etc. for Thanksgiving. It will all be alright as it always is! After my cleaning is done, I don’t worry~~
