Brings back good memories for me too of watching it at a Drive-In theatre with my family in Oklahoma when I was young. :)

It would be fun to see again. I haven’t seen it in years and years. I should watch it with my daughter.

It’s a self imposed “job”..I just do it because I love wildflowers...and I love to cyber travel!
I learn something new about every state presented. So many times I have visited large cities in a state but never seen the countrysides.I have visited some countryside in Oklahoma..Lakes Murray and Texoma.
My husband and I eloped and were married in Oklahoma when we were in college...so I have a warm feelings about Oklahoma..My mother was a wreck but soon decided she liked her son in law best..LOL

My husband’s great grandparents eloped to Oklahoma when it was still IT. She was 14.

My husband who recently passed away was born in OKC. He was a huge Sooner fan.

He had this little windup music box on a key chain that played Boomer Sooner. I caught my son winding it up and placing it in his Dad’s pocket in the casket. Made us all laugh at a very sad time.

Happy Birthday, Oklahoma!!!

What fun! I've been looking forward to this cyber-trip for weeks.....and what a great job you've done, Aqua and Billie! I am listening to "Oklahoma" and am going to grab some coffee and go back and read more of the details about this Fine state.

I have a busy day ahead, but will be back this afternoon to spend more time here.

Thank you, Aqua, for leading our tour today!

So sorry to hear about your recent loss. Know you must miss him dearly.

Have heard that Sooners fans are very dedicated fans to their sports teams.

Good Morning Mama Bear! Am sure you can see Billie's "touch" all throughout the Post.
She's already working on two other states, not going to say which, will let it be a surprise.

You two have my admiration for tackling such a difficult project - featuring states.

Thank you for the beautiful bouquet and for being such a wonderful inspiration on the correct way to feature a state. Checked in on your work several times to find a new direction after becoming stumped. lol

Thanks so much, Aqua!! Oklahoma is a great state, birthplace of my uncle's bride and burial ground for both of them (in Prague). They lived their prime years here in California, then retired to 10 acres in the OK countryside. I loved visiting them there.

"We know we belong to the land, and the land we belong to is grand."

My favorite flower in the whole world, Gaillardia aka Indian Blanket. I know you posted already, Meg, and it's beautiful; here's another:

My two favorite movie musicals: Oklahoma and Carousel. I know every tune.
