This is a dream scenario for Hillary, and a nightmare for Republicans. The Republicans will blow their campaign funds trying to beat each other, and when a winner is finally nominated, they’ll face off against Clinton who will hold a 5 to 1 advantage in dollars on hand.

The Republican pool needs to shrink to 2 front-runners in the next 45 days, or the Republican party is in a lot of trouble after the primaries.

I don’t think it matters at all. In addition to donations, Romney has personally $100M available for general election. It should be enough to combat Hillary.

Maybe. But I’ll bet a lot of money is holding off until there is a nominee. Up until this week, Hillary has had kid glove treatment. She had trouble with one tough question from Russert. The Republicans on the other hand have had plenty of practice with tough questions and will have an advantage there.
