Interesting. Females really like Romney (24, vs men 17) while opposite is true for Thompson (females only 14, men 21). I’m not sure how useful information this is, though. Conservatives favor Guliani (25) and Romney (21).

Great, you already made a lot of my points. ;-)

(1) The ladies don't like Thompson. This is true from other polls. He gets like 2% of the Moms in Florida.
(2) The ladies like Romney, from a moderate to considerable margin.
(3) In Florida, Giuliani was disfavored by the ladies. Not so here and in other polls.
(4) Romney gets more conservative support than Thompson in this poll (I need a Nelson Ha Ha .mp3 link here).
(5) The youth like Thompson, the elderly Romney. I wouldn't have thunk this, but I've seen it in other polls.
(6) Romney doesn't seem to get much traction from his health plan, if he doesn't win those for whom Health is the top issue.
(7) Romney wins the Immigration as top issue vote! That has got to help against the Dem in the general election.

Romney gets the female vote probably because he is considered more handsome and youthful than Thompson is.

Probably younger voters like Thompson because they seen him in movies and TV.

If Thompson was a lot younger and better communicator, he would be winning big.
