I’m not sure I get it. Apparently all this supposedly happened well after Kerik’s hanky panky was blown all over the place and he withdrew from the nomination for DHS.

The supposed damage, such as it was, to Rudy’s campaign was already done.

I don’t see how more dirt on Kerik, whatever it is, would really affect Giuliani very much one way or the other.

If this wasn’t NewCorp, or Fox, I would say it could be smear material.

But.. I cannot, why? Because Fox and the Murdoch machine have been pushing Rooty since the beginning of this election cycle. All good about Rooty...all the time.

I know the Rooty spinbots get upset because they do not understand why people do not go after the past and present shady Clinton schemes.

We conservatives really kind of do, but we get nowhere. It is that the MSM gives the Clintons a permanent pass. They have done this for years.

If a person is a Republican, they will never be given a MSM free pass on scandal.

So sorry Rooty toots, Rooty is a losing venture for the GOP, his liberalism has been hidden from the masses until now, get used to it, all that you want to forget, or scrape under the rug about Rooty, will come alive between now and any election.

Face it, all that we have heard is most likely true and will come home to roost, like it or not.

It’s not about Rudy. It’s about getting the news cycle away from the Hillary planted questions keg that is about to explode. Pure and simple.

“In the civil complaint filed in state court in Manhattan, Ms. Regan says the company has long sought to promote Mr. Giuliani’s ambitions. But the lawsuit does not elaborate on that charge, or identify the executive who she alleged pressured her to mislead investigators, nor does it offer details or evidence to back up her claim.”

A woman scorned? Lost her job, her phony OJ book deal and called out for boinking Kerik. Will take more than this to get to court.

This explains why Hannity jumped on the Rudy bandwagon the first day. Obviously Murdoch wants to pick both candidates.

Nah. Both Hillary and Rudy are equally scandal damaged.

Remember how FoxSnooze played a leading role in exposing Regan’s possibly lucrative O.J. Simpson “If I Did It” book deal. I wonder if it’s payback time against Newscorp.

Its not so much dirt on Rudy, but News Corp, and Fox specifically. We've all, at one time or another, been cheerleaders for Fox because we had the impression, and they milked it, that they were "fair and balanced" and more "conservative" oriented, something (the fair and balanced part) the other networks have disregarded.

Now we're hearing, not that most need the confirmation, that Fox has "anointed" their candidate. He may be a Republican, but he's no conservative.

Seems like nonsense to me. But then again the Rudyhaters are a paranoid lot.

This from Wikipedia: After the 911 attacks in 2001, Regan published a "sensational memoir" by New York police chief Bernard Kerik and began sleeping with him.

Seem to me the relationship was pretty well known.

I don’t necessarilly trust this article asd it comes from the Slimes but the way FOX has been pimping for Rudy it wouldn’t surprise me one bit. Murdoch has settled on his guy and now News Corp is all about completing the coronation.

Ms. Regan says “it is now widely accepted” that one of Mr. Giuliani’s vulnerabilities is the 52-year-old Mr. Kerik. Because of Ms. Regan’s affair with Mr. Kerik, court papers say, a senior News Corp. executive told her he believed she had information about Mr. Kerik that could hurt Mr. Giuliani’s campaign and she should lie to federal investigators.

Court papers say another executive told Ms. Regan, a HarperCollins editor for 12 years, to withhold documents that were clearly relevant to the government’s investigation of Mr. Kerik.

(snip)

In December 2006, court papers say, Ms. Regan was fired with more than two years left on her contract. The defendants said she had made anti-Semitic remarks while talking to an in-house HarperCollins lawyer, her court papers say. “This charge was completely fabricated,” her court papers say in bold print.

They say a temporary secretary who set up the call and remained on the line confirmed that Ms. Regan never made any such comments.

“Defendants knew their allegations of anti-Semitic comments were false and they were manufactured to create a pretext for Regan’s termination and further undermine her credibility,” court papers say.

News Corp. spokesman Howard Rubenstein said, “The claims are preposterous.”
