Well said.

I am wary of the implication that atheism should be endorsed over religion.

I would note that, following the prayers for rain by the Governor and others, that there was indeed rain a couple of days ago, although perhaps not enough to end the drout.

I understand atheists’ non-belief. I don’t share it, but I can understand that mindset. I tolerate, but disagree with, them. What I don’t see is similar tolerance on the part of many atheists who post here and elsewhere. This country is composed of a majority, a vast majority I would say, of Christians and other believers, and they are free to believe and exercise that belief freely. I never understand objections by atheists.
