I really thought Fred would connect not only with the GOP Base but with Independents in Blue and Purple States. And now, apparently that is not the case. I also thought the Rudy would be case aside by the GOP Base and obviously that is not the case for now.

That leaves Romney and McCain. Neither a first, second or even third choice but GOP traditions says that McCain will get the GOP nod and the money shows that Romney will get the nomination.

I’m fairly certain that at this stage, it will be Romney or Giuliani.

If somehow it is McCain that will be one of the greatest comebacks since George Foreman.

The only real question is whether Romney’s early victories will pull the rug out from under Rudy in FL and on Feb. 5. If yes, then Romney wins it all. If no, then Giuliani wins it all.

But as for Huckabee, Fred and McCain, I don’t see them doing much.

That's because they had like a one year head start. Where are all the idiots who said the race started to early? either not in the race or sucking wind. And ppl can whine about the MSM all they want, but that doesn't make it go away. Gotta deal with it.

The only material difference between Romney and Hillary is Hillary doesn’t lie about being a liberal.

He’s gotta spend the money advertising. If we could see polls where he is buying commercials, you might have a different poll.

"I also thought the Rudy would be case aside by the GOP Base and obviously that is not the case for now."

I do an awfull lot of searching on the search engines, google being the paramount one, the reason Rudy isn't tanking badly in the polls is because his staff is using the internet to make folks think he is not liberal in his views.

The other candidates should be using it to their advantage also. For instance we all know that among other things Rudy is Pro-Illegal, but Rudy's folks are paying google and the like for ads that make people think otherwise.

Heres a hint, do a search for illegal aliens on google, notice the number one spot at the top? The same with Yahoo. Hopefully Hunter and Fred's staff sees this and gets the ball rolling, because Rudy is making it look like he is against Illegal Immigration and we all know otherwise.

Love the idea of having a "Fred" as US President.

But it's obvious, Fred T. is waaaaay to lacksidasical -- to attract enthusiastic support.

Methinks, unfortunately, his ongoing bout with ?cancer? has drained a lot of his get-up-and-go.
