We should be having this conversation a couple of weeks before the primaries, not now. John Kerry was at 4% in the polls 3 weeks before the primaries.

It’s still early enough to support Duncan Hunter. Way to early to give up, and Hunter is doing better in various polls.

He isn’t even invited to the next debate. Do you think at some point he will know his numbers aren’t going to go up anymore?

I’ve seen that bantered around to include Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.....

These are all Democrats. Have you got a similar list from the Republican party?.... Normally the Republican party doesn’t come up with no names. Instead the winner will come from one of the front runners.

Admittedly, this campaign is somewhat different as there doesn’t appear to be an heir apparent. But there are three or more with decent name recognition.

50 days and the culling process begins.
