No ma'am, it's NOT speculation. I was also in Viet Nam about the same time as Jean-Francois and know that the crap he spews is crap. I also can tell you first hand about the attitude Viet Nam vets faced when they came back thanks to the efforts of Fonda-Kerry.
Veterans weren't wanted in the private workplace and discrimination against Viet Nam vets was both rampant and accepted. Soldiers no more than 12 hours off the battlefields in Viet Nam were welcomed back to the US by people spitting on them. Do a little research and check out the anti-war, anti-military language used by the MSM at the time. Then, notice the subtle shift that started to occur in the 80s or 90s when, all of a sudden, being in Viet Nam was supposed to be an honorable and courageous thing. Crapola!! Kerry and the MSM make me ill!!
Don't try to pass off Kerry's lies, manipulations and distortions as mere "speculation"! The man is a pathological liar, fraud and traitor and the only credits he has to his entire sorry life is that he married well (rich widows) and has managed to keep dust from gathering on his otherwise mediocre and pointless senate seat.
I’m sorry if my response was confusing. The things that Kerry said about those serving in Viet Nam were horrible. He deserves to rot in hell for what he did to those still serving. He saw a way to get publicity, and he took it, his comrades in arms be damned.
But, I’m talking about the reasons for his original discharge, which he won’t release. I’ve always understood that it was less than honorable because he was meeting with the enemy, which I’ve also understood to be treason. But, until he releases those records, the nature of his original discharge and the reasons for it are speculation.
