If I recall correctly from the Observer puff piece, Huma came on board at the Clinton WH in '96, then continued on with HRC in the Senate. She was said to have started off as a lowly assistant right out of Georgetown U. and then gradually expanded into being "indispensable" to Her Royal Thighness.

Yes, it's possible that she may have had some influence on Clinton WH Middle East policy, but it would be difficult to draw a connection at this time.

I was thinking more along the line of what she learned at the WH and then transmitted to others. Not saying that’s the case....
