George Soros, soakin' up the love.
Quick! See if you can catch a glimpse of Hillary’s arm, snaking up his backside! ;)
A true fool, and a dangerous man.
Is he speaking at that Miami Book conference or whatever? I was channel surfing and landed on a bunch of BDS victims (including the speakers) and couldn’t stand watching for more than a minute...poor people. I don’t know why they are allowed out of their homes without their meds, LOL! :-)
Okedoke. So he repudiates the “General Betray-Us” ad by Move-on and insists he has no day-to-day control over the outfits he contributes to (as opposed to the ones he formally runs).
He says he first got involved in the NGO/Foundation game in the early eighties in South Africa against apartheid, then in 1985 in his native Hungary against communism. And then it grew from there. He said he spends $500 mil a year on his worthy causes.
He reiterated the story that his father changed family identities during the war and farmed him out (b.1930)to a Hungarian official to pose as his step-son. Yes, he admits that this man was tasked by the Nazi occupiers to expropriate jewish property and that he was dragged along on these errands as a 14-year-old but reminds us that he was upfront about all this in his autobiography and asks us how that makes him a war criminal.
Nobody asked him any sticky questions and mostly it was calls from worshippers. He made multiple plugs for his Open Society Institute and admitted to having always voted Democrat. He said he became a naturalized citizen in 1950-something (I read 1961). Mostly it was about this latest book he’s plugging at the Miami book fair and his usual blather about how Bush is using the ill-named War on Terror (I’m partially with him on this one, Bush wimped out when he failed to call it by it’s rightful name: The War on Islamic Fascism) to take over the country, etc., etc.
It’s easy to see how any man’s megalomaniacal tendencies can grow and run riot when one spends decades living in a bubble of wealth, surrounded 24/7 by people who either work for you or want your crinkly green money.
I’ve met him. He is many things. Fool is not one of them. He is a very very very smart and dangerous man.
