WWI ended at the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month. No winners! The Allies quickly made the Germans the losers, however. Germany got revenge by starting WWII.

Those German brutes sure could start a war! (Too bad for them they couldn’t win one.)

Just goes to show what happened when the political leadership tried to micromanage the war instead of letting the military leaders lead. Seems like some modern politicians would be wise to remember that lesson, but alas...

This is one of the last Armistice days with surviving WWI veterans. They are a national treasure that we might not have much longer.
