You can disagree with the rationale behind the Iraq War without being a nut. Once committed to a war, however, with US soliders in harm's way, I believe you should execute a war as expeditiously and forcefully as possible. And you can disagree with the nuts and bolt of the Patriot Act without disputing the desire to safeguard the USA from murderers and saboteurs.
How do you feel about the Department of Homeland Security? Before and after 9/11, did the Bush Administration support or oppose the request of airline pilots to bear arms?
I am not sure yet another FedGov bureaucracy is the best way to secure citizens' liberties or lives. But it sure keeps taxes high.
