NY POST ^ | November 11, 2007 | BRENDAN SCOTT

Posted on 11/11/2007 5:50:40 AM PST by Liz

When Giuliani walked out of City Hall six years ago, he had $2M in the bank.....Then came book deals, speaking tours and partnership at a powerful Washington lobbying house. None would prove more lucrative than the small consulting firm Giuliani and his most trusted aides founded in 2002 in an angular glass tower at 5 Times Square. Since 2002, Giuliani Partners has formed several subsidiaries--Giuliani Capital Advisors - an investment since sold - Giuliani Compliance Japan and security companies called Giuliani-Kerik and Giuliani Security & Safety........ By the time Giuliani declared for president last spring, his firm grossed an estimated $100M.......he was worth some $66M. .....and fending off questions about shady clients, disgraced employees and murky business decisions.

No more crooks in the WH(Rudy). No more slicks in the WH(Mitt). No more liars in the WH(Huckabee). No more flip floppers in the WH (McCain).

Just the conservatives please. For example, Duncan Hunter.

Thanks for bringing out more truth about this slickly-packaged phony. The strong poll showings by Rudy & Romney arend based on money, and we now see where some of that money comes from. Hunter, Tancredo, and Thompson are the real core Republicans. Giuliani is the real Republican “fringe candidate.”

Hillary made an unqualified bar bouncer security chief in the WH.
Rudy made his unqualified driver police chief in New York.

Not much difference between the two!

The attempts to turn Rudy’s private business ventures into a political liability is clear (just as the libs and Dems tried to intimate that since Bush once owned a baseball franchise it was somehow dirty money). These smear artists are trying to make you buy into the argument that Giuliani business ventures. = Haliburton.
Apparently, the only clean money out there comes from illegal campaign contributions, political kickbacks and cold hard cash stored in your freezer.

Thanks for sharing this good research. This needs to be presented in this primary process so that Giuliani does not get the nomination. Can you imagine how this (and I’m sure so much more) is already prepackaged by the Hillary camp to use against him if he wins the nod? He is definitely the candidate the Left hopes to face.

Rudy's association and business dealings with questionable characters is the source of the political liability and he is to blame for those. It is ridiculous to nominate someone with shady dealings and then scream bloody murder when the other side capitalizes on them. Never assume that because the Left has unclean hands, that they won't have the temerity to highlight republican SLEAZE.

Qatar Contract Offers Glimpse Into Giuliani Firm
wsj | November 7, 2007 | MARY JACOBY
FR Posted on 11/07/2007 12:34:29 AM PST by Fred

Rudy Giuliani is one of the few candidates ever to pursue the White House while maintaining a high-ranking role in a private-sector firm. But since he became a candidate for president, the Republican front-runner has rebuffed all calls to disclose details about the clients and dealings of Giuliani Partners, the consulting firm he founded in 2002.

Some of those clients have controversial records. Among those he hasn't disclosed is the government of Qatar, a Persian Gulf state to whom the firm provided security advice, according to the former U.S. ambassador there. Qatar is a strategic U.S. military ally and energy supplier, yet also a country that has been criticized for its conduct toward al Qaeda -- a potential political pitfall for a candidate pitching himself as an uncompromising foe of Islamic terrorism.

Other potentially controversial dealings have been disclosed by the firm or by clients over the years. They include Purdue Pharma, a drug company that hired the firm in 2002 to help with a federal investigation into overdose deaths attributed to the pharmaceutical firm's powerful OxyContin painkiller, and New York nuclear-power-plant operator Entergy Nuclear Northeast.

But more recent Giuliani clients aren't known. Because the firm is closely held, Mr. Giuliani isn't required to disclose much about his income and wealth, other than his holdings in the firm itself, where he remains chairman and chief executive and receives income in the form of guaranteed payments and partnership distributions. Campaign watchdog groups say that raises some red flags. "Are there folks who might want to have greater influence with a potential President Giuliani? (Excerpt) Read more at online.wsj.com ...

IT is a big gun control nut!
IT covered for illegal aliens in ITS city!
IT surround ITself with queers and thugs!

Why does IT have an R by ITS name instead of a D?

I think Rudy could be the most personally corrupt candidate in the running, with the sole exception of the Hildebeast. That’s in addition to his being the most extreme leftist ever to run as a Republican. He’s a closet McGovernite.

So on top of being pro-abort, anti-2A, pro-sanctuary city, this guy is an internationalist with mob ties?

Why is he running, exactly? Who are these people we are told by the MSM national polling are supporting him? On what basis do these folks believe a man with zero military experience and scant experience with foreign affairs would somehow do a better job than anyone else running (except maybe Paul)?

http://www.amazon.com/Radio-Silence-FDNY-Betrayal-Bravest/dp/097590213X

The book "Radio Silence: The Betrayal of New York's Bravest" describes the technical failures of the FDNY radio system.

More importantly, it describes the failure of conscience of the Giuliani administration and points out that Rudy's cronies were involved in out-and-out incompetence and shady dealing with a major radio vendor.

The book does not put Rudy in very good light - and rightfully so. Former Fire Commissioner Tom Von Essen, now a partner in Rudy's consultancy firm, was directly responsible for the radio system debacle that was a contributing factor in the loss of 343 FDNY personnel on September 11, 2001.

If it comes down to Hillary vs Rudy in the general election, I will hold my nose and vote for Rudy, but he's got some major problems in his past.

I knew about the cross-dressing and the kinky sex, I knew about the adultery, I knew about Rudy's weak border proposals, I knew about the draft-dodging, I knew about how he and Bernie tried to infiltrate the Department of Homeland Security, but until today I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE PRIEST AND THE PEDOPHILIA.

Every day it just seems to get worse!

MAP OF TEXAS-CANADA-MEXICO TRADE CORRIDOR BROKERED BY Bracewell & Giuliani

CONSTRUCTON OF TRADE ROAD IN MEXICO

Bracewell & Giuliani Firm Advises Cintra in First Privatization of Toll Road in Texas DALLAS (March 1, 2007) Bracewell & Giuliani LLP (Texas-based law firm with global connections) advised Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., a Spanish transportation company, in its successful bid to develop State Highway 121 into a toll road through Collin and Denton counties ("trade road" is four football fields wide). The award to Cintra, approved by the Texas Transportation Commission, is the first privatization of a Texas toll road. Bracewell is acting as project counsel to Cintra with respect to the 50-year concession from the Texas Department of Transportation. Cintra will pay a $2.1 billion upfront and annual lease payments totaling $700 million. "Cintra was awarded this project because of its proven expertise and competitive proposal," said Thomas O. Moore, partner with Bracewell & Giuliani. "This is the largest transportation deal of 2007. This is one of only five deals in the country." http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1803916/posts

NOTE: Properties for the "Trade Corridor" were taken through eminent domain.
