Thanks. Do you find the sourcing balanced? I’m not looking for a right wing slant either, I just want a set of sources that will lead to reality and truth...which is more risky with a liberal compromised source.
Translation: Please use our site that is merely a clone of Wikipedia, using the wiki code developed by those eeeeevil Wikipedians, which does not have over two million articles but is instead filled (sort of) with a measly few thousand poorly written articles that can only be used via a shady non-open license. :p
Also, this is not a place for advertising your pet project. lol.
It’s an encyclopedia. No one who has graduated the 6th grade seriously uses encyclopedias as a reference for academic work. :p
I kind of doubt there are many sources that are totally balanced. That’s not a problem as long as I remember which ones are and to what side they have their bias. Experience will teach you which ones are and to which side. At least that’s been what I’ve been doing for some time now. And yes, I miss bias just as much as everyone else does but I try not to. Heck, I’ve even read something from Scrappleface thinking it was true until I read the source and laughed because it was an obvious spoof.
Others I have learned to rely on, such as Michael Yon, Daniel Pipes and Victor Davis Hansen. I rarely have to wonder if they are fair or misleading me. Likewise I am always skeptical with anything from the NY Times or other liberal syndicated papes.
I couldn’t agree with you more. Plus they learn it better and it sticks as true if they do it themselves. All I can say is good luck. Your job is one of the hardest I know of.
