The Jews were kicked out in 1492, at which point the Muslims were also kicked out - or rather they were offered the choice of converting to Catholicism or leaving. Linking the expulsion of the Jews and turning wussy on the Islamists is historical nonsense.

You are wrong. My expertise is on Spanish history. The Spaniards continued to romanticize the Moslems. it shows in their literature - and the Moslems WERE NOT EXPELLED IN 1492 - NOT EXPELLED IN 1492. There was a battle with the Moriscos under Philip III and some of them were exiled but many stayed. AND THE INQUISITION DID NOT MOVE AGAINST THE MOSLEMS.
