Exactly. But it's not just Liberals Dems. The RINOs who keep immigrating here, primarily from CA, seem to have more in common with the local Dems than the local GOP grassroots. Up here in Larimer County, the advantage in voter registration of (R) over (D) seems to grow larger yearly, yet the number of elections won by Dems at the statehouse level seems to grow in spite of that.
The Calif Republicans seem to mostly be economic conservatives and social liberals. So they are repelled by social conservative GOP candidates, and will cross over to vote for the Dems quite often. More than just vote for the Dems, many will publicly write letters supporting the Dems while pointedly identifying themselves as Republicans in the same letters. And they'll condemn the GOP candidate.
With Republicans like these, who needs Democrats?
Like you said, they helped to foul their own state. Now they don't like the stench around them, so they look for an unspoiled state to move to. They come here and say, "That's better!" Then they proceed to help the local Dems foul this state as well. Eventually, when this place is fouled up beyond recognition, they'll bemoan it and wonder what the heck happened to ruin this place too. And they will never once think of looking in the mirror for the answer.
WELL THEN WE HAVE TO STAND UP TO THESE BULLIES! And I kind of know the pain you all are feeling in CO, my grandparents, and parents are from there (Arvada), and still have uncles aunts live in state!!
