The Florida Republican Party continues to boost a convicted felon than giving him the boot.

Bunch of maniacs up in Tallahassee.
All of them ought to arrested and kicked out of office.

It was a missdeweiner.

I swear to God if this was not such a serious election in 2008, this would be absolutely hillarious! What is happening to the Republican Party. We have more homos than the Democrats. Maybe it is that Republicans stand for morals and these clowns just can’t live by them. The Republicans sure are giving a lot of ammo to the Democrats.

This is sad. He needs to do the right thing and resign.

It is sad, I have known and worked with Bob Allen for 18 years. He has been a consistent voice for advancing the conservative cause, then he disappointed us by becoming a McCain Co-Chair in Florida, and now this.
He should do the right thing and resign.

...And he is still in denial about it ! I hope he gets some psych help. Somebody going into a public restroom and doing their best impersonation of George Michael has some serious issues.

Once again this tread would be much more fun if the bathroom sex trolling queer were a Democrat.

No, not funny. It’s just sad. A serious cry for help (this guy, Larry Craig, etc). What the hell is it with homosexual men seeking out rendezvous in the most public places ? I mean, it’s one thing to meet the person, but another to continue the trist in such a locale ? Bathrooms, bathhouses, wooded areas in parks. They wouldn’t have quite the rep they have if they had the common courtesy to go get a motel room or their own homes.

I've always found it interesting how Rs will do all they can to disassociate themselves with those within their ranks who are convicted of crimes, especially sex crimes, while Ds seem to put them up on a pedastal. Mel Reynolds, Alcee Hastings, and Marion Barry all come to mind...

No, it's not sad. It's completely disgusting.
Wonder if these politicians are finding their rendezvous sites using internet "cruising" search engines?
Like this one, for example:
I would've posted a link. But, as you might imagine, the site is rife with gay porn images.
Don't ask how I know such things exist...I'm very worldly.

I live in Allen’s district too, so this is humiliating.

It doesn’t sound like he will. Maybe he and Larry Craig could compare notes on implausible defenses.
