I know where you’re coming from when you excoriate the powers-that-be for pre-selecting the “acceptable” or “electable” group of candidates from which we have to choose. I feel the same.
But I’m just as ticked off at Republican rank and file. Which candidate is the surprise, the dark horse, etc. when people begin to wake up and want someone other than Rudy, Romney, McCain, or even Fred? It pains me to adimit this but in truth they seem to want.....Mike Huckabee.
Makes me want to throw up. What is wrong with Republican rank and file that they would fall for the glib gabber from Hope, who except for his better morality reminds me for all the world of another Bill Clinton. Yuck.
