I tend to agree with both of you about in my opinion of the woman’s religious beliefs. But those beliefs in no way relieve the hospital of their responsibility to do their job with the same care they would give any other patient. In other words, it’s not the hospital’s fault she was bit, but it may be their fault she died.
She at least is massively comparatively negligent, if not the sole proximate cause of her own injury and demise....As well, it is my guess the staffing at the hospital did what they had to do to save this moron. If you want to believe the family allegations I have a bridge in Brooklyn I will sell to you for a few thousand dollars....
And insensitive remarks about her religion don’t kill or constitute malpractice.
Likely that patient was waiting for this and there was little to do but bring a crash cart and standby for her heart to stop.
Although they shouldn’t have made disparaging remarks in front of the family, that alone doesn’t substantiate a malpractice case.
The snake's venom may be sufficient to induce suffocation.
Best to dance with that snake in a nice glass case on the other side of the room or something.
We have both kinds show up around here ~ Appalachian snake handlers and those from South Asia. Every now and then one of the breeders lets something loose ~ and that does get the police to pay attention.
Best thing that ever happened was the small snake handler church down the way was taken by the highway. No idea where those folks went ~ maybe Woodbridge.
