Thanks for that great graphic of “The Oath.”
Take note, there’s no expiration date.
Had a GREAT service in church this morning honoring Vets. At the end of the service, a Vietnam Vet who was a part of the planning for today’s service, turned the tables and presented the senior pastor and congregation a flag that had been flown in a combat zone in Iraq. He expressed the thoughts that many of us feel - All those family members at home who support our troops with cards, letters, care-packages and prayer deserve a special recognition.
Salute to my fellow vets and those who keep/kept the homefires burning.
We’re attending a program this afternoon at the new Gallo Performing Arts Center honoring our Veterans. Tucked a handkerchief into the my Dress Blues this morning and got a fresh one out for this afternoon. Must be a sinus condition... :)
Very fine graphics, Mama Bear. I stand in appreciation of each tribute each of you have posted here... I do. More than that, I thank each of you who have served in the armed forces: today is your day, and tomorrow too.
